Selling some of my 1944-1945 Twenty Centavos. FOR P100.00 each. Or trade with other Philippine coins dated 1903-1945.
These were part of the series of Philippine/US coinage. It is unique in that they carry the obverse inscription "FILIPINAS" and the reverse inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA".
Most of these silver coins were minted in Denver, hence the letter "D" a little before the year (1944/1945). It was introduced following the landing of General MacArthur in Leyte.
